The Masters Snooker 2027: Dates, Tickets & How to Watch
Published · Mark O'Sullivan
The 2027 Masters is at Alexandra Palace in London from 10 to 17 January 2027. Only the world's top 16 are invited, it is live on the BBC and on TNT Sports (streaming on HBO Max), and Kyren Wilson is the defending champion. Tickets are on general sale through World Snooker Tour.
The Masters is snooker's biggest invitation event and one of the three Triple Crown titles, with the UK Championship and the World Championship. It was first staged in 1975, the winner lifts the Paul Hunter Trophy, and it has been held at Alexandra Palace since 2012.
Dates and venue
Saturday 10 to Sunday 17 January 2027, at Alexandra Palace, north London.
Tickets
Tickets are sold through WST's See Tickets shop, linked from the Masters ticket page, which also has the session times and prices as a PDF. New for 2027 is the "147 Club", 72 armchair seats at the baulk end of the arena. Ticket questions go to ticketing@wst.tv.
How to watch in the UK
- BBC: live on BBC TV, iPlayer and the BBC Sport website, under a deal that runs until 2032.
- TNT Sports, streaming on HBO Max. TNT Sports moved its streaming from discovery+ to HBO Max in the UK in March 2026, so older guides that say discovery+ are out of date. Every frame of the Masters is shown live.
Who plays and the format
Only the top 16 players in the world rankings qualify. For 2026 the field was the top 16 after the UK Championship, and the draw was made during the UK Championship final. Matches are best of 11 frames until the final, which is best of 19 over two sessions.
