What to expect

Budget imported cues are playable for casual club use and practice, but they are not precision tools. Shafts may not be perfectly straight, tips may need reshaping before use, and joints can be slightly loose. Many come with a cue case, which is useful though often basic in quality. If you play seriously, expect to spend more on a cue that has been properly straightness-tested and fitted by a professional.
