What fits
"Fits with a short cue" means the shorter cue clears the walls; keep one by the table for shots near the wall.
Minimum room size for every table
Minimum room = the table's playing area (cushion to cushion) plus twice the cue length, on the length and on the width. Rounded to the centimetre; leave a little more if a wall has a radiator, a door or furniture.

Questions people ask
How much room do I need for a full-size snooker table?
At least 6.46m (21'3") by 4.67m (15'4") with a standard 57in cue. That is the 12ft table's playing area (3569 × 1778mm) plus a cue's length on every side. About 22ft × 16ft gives comfortable room to cue.
How much room do I need for a 6ft snooker table?
About 4.65m (15'3") by 3.73m (12'3") with a 57in cue. With a 52in short cue the room can be about 25cm (10in) shorter in each direction.
What size room do I need for a 7ft pool table?
About 4.88m (16'0") by 3.91m (12'10") for a 7ft table with a 76 × 38in playing area and a 58in cue. Measure the playing area of the actual table, because 7ft tables vary by maker.
How is the minimum room size worked out?
Take the playing area, measured cushion to cushion, and add twice the cue length to both the length and the width. That leaves room to draw the cue back from the cushion on every side.
My room is a little too small. What can I do?
Keep a shorter cue (52in or 48in) by the table for shots near the wall. A few awkward shots off one wall are fine for home play; if a whole side is short, choose the next size down.
